How do they get the grass that green at Wimbledon? 5000 years of rain.
Going to the first day of Wimbledon yesterday was fantastic. We got in the queue at 6:30 AM and got onto the grounds around 9:30. Tennis finally started at noon and we had fifth row seats to watch the American Marty Fish win his first round match. We then walked around the grounds and saw lots more tennis. Overall a great way to spend our last day in London (for now) and a unique experience that we will never forget. Cross that one off the bucket list!

Today we rode a double-decker bus tour all around London. We started at Baker Street and took it down to Westminster. There we got off the bus and took some great photos like the one above with Parliament in the background. Afterwards, we went into Westminster Abbey and Deb got to experience firsthand one of the churches she learned about in her Ancient and Medieval art class.
Yes yes, we’re definitely tourists. But how could we resist taking these London phonebooth photos?

After no sleep on the plane we are in London and having some breakfast at a local cafe. Coffee is nice and strong. Need our energy today working on no sleep!

Last night in the US
This time tomorrow we’ll be close to landing in London (at 625 am their time). Looking forward to this adventure and sharing our experiences with you.
